The every day care that MRR provides for the rescues is very involved. The rescues that we have are living the rest of their lives out here at the rescue due to being elderly and having medical issues. The cost for feed (hay, grain, and chopped hay), medicine, shavings, farrier, dental, and vet care are extremely expensive- just over $2,000 per month!
Sponsoring a pony/donkey’s life helps us maintain a quality of life that each and every one of the rescues deserve. A reoccurring monthly donation (minimum amount required), that you are comfortable with, helps improve the life of that pony or donkey. Visiting and spending time with your sponsored pony/donkey is encouraged and is so rewarding. You will build a special bond that will be very special.
We like to have multiple sponsors for each pony/donkey to ensure that your donation is doable and you feel comfortable. Once you have chosen a pony/donkey please call Patti Maroney at 508-387-4379 to get started.
